I was twice awarded the Jules-Léger Prize for New Chamber Music, Canada’s highest honour for composition, for Bel Canto in 2011 and About Bach in 2016.

Doctoral research, on the topics of transcription and vocality, was supported by the University of Huddersfield’s Jonathan Harvey Scholarship in Composition (2014–17), a Canada Council for the Arts’ Grant to Professional Musicians (2014–15), and the Canada Council for the Arts’ Joseph S. Stauffer Prize (2014–15). Previous research and development, on the topic of mortality narratives and musical time, was also supported by a Canada Council for the Arts’ Grant to Professional Musicians (2013–14).
